Welcome to my photo site. I am primarily a landscape photographer who enjoys traveling and hiking in the mountains of the world and chasing perfect light. My inspirations are the darkroom giants like Ansel Adams and 19th century romantics like Bierstadt. Both provide representations somewhere between the "reality" our brains have evolved to recognize and pure abstractions. Digital tools now allow even the artistically challenged to literally take a shot.
